During the school tours the class will begin with an introduction and short film inside the AgVentures!® Theater. Students will then tour AgVentures!® Learning Center and be asked to complete a scavenger hunt. In addition, they will visit our “Water Room” to plant a sunflower seed. After completing these areas the class will “take a step back in time” as they enter the Ag Museum to learn about the history of agriculture. Students will have an opportunity to see tractors, trucks, and farm equipment from various decades, some almost one hundred years ago. Each field trip is approximately two hours. You may visit our arbor area after the school tour to eat lunch and let the class have some free time in the grass area before departing the International Agri-Center®.
We recommend 1 chaperone per 8 students. Additional chaperones will be charged a $5.00 fee.
