AgVentures!® Day
What is AgVentures!® Day?
AgVentures!® Day provides information about the agriculture industry, providing students and teachers the opportunity to become familiar with food and animal production, learn about healthy food choices, and allows personal contact with people in the ag industry.
The International Agri-Center®, along with Tulare County Farm Bureau, UCCE, Tulare County 4-H, and Farm Credit West partner together to host AgVentures!® Day for Tulare and Visalia fourth grade students. Students will explore Farming, Food, and Fun by listening to presenters from the ag industry and see demonstrations about agriculture topics.
During AgVentures!® Day students are provided bags with various food samples donated by producers throughout the Central Valley. This event is held in May of each year and funded by the International Agri-Center®.
